A conquest and CTF map focused on close in fighting.
BackStreets V3.0 FINAL (Dedicated to James Sellick who fought in WWII & sadly passed away on 25th June 2003)
This is a map for Battlefield 1942 by Unorthodox Level Design (a.k.a. One-Man-Crimewave & Phes)

This map is now playable in Conquest mode & Capture the Flag mode. It still has NO bot support.
Simply put the included BackStreets.rfa into your ....Battlefield1942/Mods/bf1942/Archives/bf1942/levels folder
**IMPORTANT - CONQUEST**
Both bases can be taken but it takes twice as long. You need to capture 3 flags in order for the opposing teams tickets to start going down (that's 4 flags, including ur base). Only one light tank will appear on the repair bay at the south city control point.
**IMPORTANT - CTF**
There is an extra light tank & jeep connected to the southern Apartments. Tank will appear on the repair bay & the jeep next to it.
We wanted to be able to get into all the buildings, with lots of angles & lots of ways to attack. This is our first attempt at making a map for any game so any feedback would be welcomed (we all gotta start somewhere). Plz don't e-mail me saying that this map has no historical fact because we know that. It was made for fun & to see if we could.
Things changed from version 1.0 include :-
New ground textures
All shadows done
A few floating objects fixed
Re-done the map
Fixed an out of place spawn point
Added new ladders to the Apartments for a back way in (slightly buggy but u can jump to get off them)
2 more jeeps in Conquest mode (now 2 per team)
Fixed an error in the readme (where to put the .rfa)
CTF mode added (including more vehicles to help aid an assault)
A few objects moved slightly for ease of driving
Added a bit of greenery to the level (outside the map but still visible from the play area)
Added a few more objects inside buildings
Added more ammo boxes in various places (for snipers mainly, but the others i've added are inside buildings hopefully out of the way enough to stop grenade spamming)
