Purge is an online-only computer game. It is a hybrid First-Person-Shooter / Role-Playing-Game set in the near future accounting a war between the diametrically opposed forces of science-fiction (the Order) and fantasy (the Chosen). Technology versus magic. Science versus religion. Purge is being developed by Freeform Interactive LLC and utilizes the LithTech Talon system.

Technology

- Projectile code tweaked for bandwidth.

- Network packet buffer doubled.

RPG Mechanics

- Less XP is now gained for killing lower leveled players.

Skills General

- Ward and Ion Barrier "warning" time increased from 1.5 to 2 seconds to

compensate for lag.

Monk

- Mindblast accuracy increased 33%.

Maps

- Riley's Gap lighting completely reworked to get rid of the dingy yellow,

muddy hue.

UI

- Fixed bug where leveling or the Hyper buff would take you out of zoom.

- Assassin icon in the Character Setup fixed.

- Lock icon added to the Join Server screen.

- Server browsing more robust now: shows your build number and the build

numbers of the servers.

- Name crashing bug fixed.

- Building base structures only informs your team now.

- Added messages for creating Health, Ammo, Runes and Implants.
