Captain Miller
This is a player skin of Cpt. Miller, Tom Hanks, from Saving Private Ryan.

Description:
-----------
Tom Hanks was next on my list, but attention there is an ugly bug in this game.
--------- --------
At a high distance all face textures are displayed from the first face of each league.
At a low distance you can experience all three faces.
I hope this will be fixed with the next patch!
This .dds file will replace the amerikan face 2 with Cpt. Miller (Movie: Saving Private Ryan)
In this version I improved the face colour. Now his face doesn't seem to shine.

TO USE THESE FILES
====================
To use these files in the Retail version, you'll need Moseley's RFA Extractor to unpack the Refractor Flat Archive (textures.rfa).
If you haven't already, download it at http://www.bf1942files.com
Note: RFA Extractor requires Microsoft's .net Framework update to run!!!! (19 MB)
Download it at:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/.netframesdk/Redist/1.0/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/dotnetredist.exe
Note:
After installing the .net Framework (SDK) you may need to download the msvcr70.ddl and mscoree.dll files. Get 'em at: www.dll-files.com , unzip and copy to your Windows/system or system32 folder.
=========================
EXTRACT THE RFA ARCHIVE
=========================
Use RFA Extractor to uppack your "Archives/texture.rfa" file to the main game directory "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942" RFA Explorer will automatically create the "texture" folder when you unpack.
Remove/Rename the original texture.rfa archive to a safe place outside the Battlefield 1942 directory.
You should now have the following directory structure:
AdminTool
Archives
cache
eReg
Logs
Movies
MultiplayerServers
Music
save
Settings
texture <-- Here's your new folder
========================
EXTRACT THE .DDS FILES
========================
Extract the included .dds files from the .zip archive to
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\texture".
* Overwrite the existing textures or move them to a safe location prior to extracting these files.
Run the game!
Enjoy,
