Dragon Age lovers rejoice, modifications are now being produced full tilt as the toolset is polished up and people start learning the magical rituals needed to summon awesomeness. I've picked out 10 below to showcase, but you can also download FilePlanet's full v1.0 modification package featuring over 50 great mods!


DA Mod Manager - jwvanderbeck



Designed as a replacement for Bioware's DAUpdated program this little gem allows you to easily install AND uninstall mods of all types. We suggest grabbing this first to make your modding experience a little less painless.


Sarcred Ashes CG Faces - Thrane



You perfer the Leliana, Sten and Morrigan that you saw in the Sacred Ashes trailer for the game? Never fear, Thrane has just the thing. This combo pack pleases the eyes with new versions of our favorite character from the game.


More Hairstyles - kzelsama



How many new hairstyles in the package is a bit of a mystery, but it's somewhere around a gaggle. How many is in a gaggle? Slightly more then a giggle, and less then a goggle. Also includes the Lady of the Forest hair!


Shapeshifter Items - ITSSEXYTIME



Return to the Kocari Wilds and complete a small quest to recover several unique items geared to improve the Shapeshifter play experience. Also check out a new merchant in the Wilds that carries some neat items you may have missed.


Realistic Look - adriangi



This modification consists of two human female bodies, and several versions of those two bodies. As you can tell from the picture, they seem to lack clothing - but this can be resolved by wearing armor. Must be a bug.


Dragon Age Mutator 014 - TheMutator



Want to prevent your spellcasting from being interrupted? How about unlocking everything in the game, or upping the amount decapitations your character dishes out? This mutator pack has you covered with all sorts of tweaks.


Pineappletree s Vibrant Colors - Pineappletree



This adds 48 new hair & eyebrow colors, 40 new skin tones and 30 new eye colors to the Character Creator and replaces the 11 eye colors originally shipped with Dragon Age. Talk about a rainbow (pineapple) dream of character customization.


Dual Wield 2-Handed Weapons - orgolove



This is a mod designed to let you dual wield greatswords, mauls, and/or battleaxes (provided you have Dual Wield Master) or at least wield both these weapons and a shield at the same time. When one greatsword isn't enough!


Summons of Mages - DeepImpact



This school of evocation teaches your mage how to summon creatures for assistance including zombies, vampires, elementals, shades, abomiminations and much more! An amazing modification that is bound to "summon" some fun into your game.


JBTextures - reative24



BioWare released Dragon Age: Origins recently, but many textures throughout the game are noticeably low-resolution. This texture package gives the game new, resized textures (Using fractal method, fake HDR and my own photoshop methods).
