Mod of the Month - The Ball

Welcome to August's "Mod of the Month" here on FilePlanet. This month's winner goes to a serious contender in the Make Something Unreal Contest and one of my personal favorite Unreal Tournament 3 modifications, The Ball created by the 13-person Toltec Studios. Placing you into the sturdy boots of a gentlemen stuck within a Mesoamerican complex. With his companion ball you must work your geologist and physics magic in order to unfold an ancient story of betrayal and secrecy.

Work your way through golden cities of forgotten lore, huge spooky caverns and mummy-bending puzzles and grow to love your ball as it's your only companion. You may even just end up drawing a face on it and having conversations with yourself. Once you begin playing you quickly realize this isn't your ordinary mod, and you'll be scratching your head on the next step to unlocking the mystery.


The Ball has episodic releases, four of which have been released: Pehua, Oztoc, Teotl and Hueca the most recent. The next release is coming the end of 2009 called Cahua.
