I think we all remember the first video footage with the crashed wreckage of a bus and the faint echoing of "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by the Ink Spots and the creepy little hula girl statue. Fallout 3 seemed so distant then, like a dream that we all maintained that would never be a reality. Sort of like bacon donuts, or soda drinking fountains.

But Fallout 3 comes closer and closer, and more footage is released - its first reviews from across the globe hitting electronic shelves. Get ready world, it's about to explode. Also, in case you missed it the canceled Fallout 3 Project Van Buren was released previously. It's super buggy, but it's something to grace your time with.

As for the game itself, it's coming soon. I'll be grabbing it from Direct2Drive as they always seem to have it up first and fastest (yes, I realize they are on my network too - but seriously, they rock!). And looking into the future, do you guys think there will be many Fallout 3 modifications? Drop me a line if you see a super cool one being created.
