In beta news, the PS3 Beta for ModNation Racers became available today for Subscribers. Also, everybody can still pick up a key for Bad Company 2 (Also PS3) - both are limited though, so get them while you can.

Demos have been pretty quiet lately, but there is a demo for King Arthur to check out, and a second demo for Need for Speed: Shift. We need more demos. MOAAAAR!

We're proud to congrutulate Call of Duty World at War: RGN Vietnam Mod as Mod fo the Month for November 2009. Read more in Ricecrispi's FileBlog earlier this week.

We've begun voting for Best Files of 2009. Every vote counts, so make sure to check out all the 9 catagories carefully. Results will be announced in January. Prizes will not include millions of dollars, but a trophy graphic is just as sweet.

Recently on our Free Games tab we've launched World Golf Tour, Freesky and the addictingly cartoony Battlefield Heroes. I can't get that damn song out of my head.

Mod of The Month - Call of Duty World At War: RGN Vietnam Mod

Call of Duty World at War: RGN Vietnam Mod sticks the CoD series right into the steamy jungles of Vietnam. This is perfect time to blast "The Ride of Valkyries" song and jump on a Huey because it's time to smell some napalm. This multiplayer mod really captures the grittiness of the Vietnam War as the US 1st Calvary and NVA/Vietcong duke it out in some rice fields.

Both armies have unique features as each side have unique skins with the US troops in Army fatigues and Vietnam troops using straw hats and simple uniforms. Both sides have six classes using specific class weapons from the war including AK47s, M16s, and MGs for a total of 28 weapons. Both sides can fight on 10 rain swept maps surrounded by tropical jungles, cities streets, and hospitals. RGN did an awesome job with the map design and layouts making them as realistic as possible. They look so good I thought they built them from picture from my trips back to Vietnam. The mod has countless other smaller features that are sprinkled throughout the mod.
