Just give you folks a reminder that the entry phase of our costume contest ends at 11:59PM this Monday, so don't forget to get those entries to us before then! Click here for contest info.
We've gotten some cool entries so far, but at this point it's still anybodies game. Don't think we don't practice what we preach, we take Halloween and silly costumes fairly seriously around the office and had lots of masked and costumed people wandering about. All of whom are, of course, ineligible to enter the contest. Lots of pictures were taken, but if you wanted to see those you'd have to work here, sorry. Ok.. That’s a bit harsh, I guess I could show all a couple of the pictures.
This is a larger version of the picture we are using to promote the contest on the front page. These (myself included on the far left) are just a few of the people that help keep FilePlanet running smoothly on a day to day basis. Thanks for all your hard work guys!
Here we have Fargo, one of our crazy GameSpy editors, as a Funky Ninja.
Here in the office, lunch is serious business, so much so that it has taken the form of competitive pumpkin pie eating contests.
Ok, that's good for now, if you wanted to see the rest you really would have to work here. But let's end things with acknowledgement of one universal truth, NOBODY rocks harder than Jesus!
Now let's see your entries, send them away and win!
The polls are closed here in the United States and we've pulled off our "I voted" stickers. With the storm settled, Obama was named the President Elect. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in charge of your own presidential campaign? If so, check out Political Machine 2008 and play as either Barack Obama or John McCain and see if the results end any differently.
Additionally, there are two great city builders to start you on the path of shaping a country. Check out these two titles below.
I know many of you Team Fortress maniacs out there can't get enough of your sentry-building, grenade-slinging, heavy-exploding fix - so we've picked out a couple of our new favorite maps to share with the team. First and foremost is Aerospace, a battle between two rivaling companies for a large government contract. Both having created a prototype airplane, they would be curious about the rival's blueprints...
Steel is a unique Capture Point map; this one has a center point that can be captured right from the start of the game. As you capture each side point however, the center becomes easier to capture. A very well put together map with solid geometry and intense play.
Last but not least, the payload map Cashworks. Red and Blu are at it again in this massive lumber yard. Blu has decided to take advantage of a spare large bomb and push it along the tracks towards Red's McScrooge size safe.
