Lately, there have been so many massively online games out there to play - it's so hard to choose which to spend your time on. Instead of trying them all, I always look at their new features and play the ones that really stand out. Aion is one of those that do and I'm proud to say the FilePlanet beta of the NCSoft title will playable starting July 2nd!
That's all well and good handsome Ferret, but what is it that makes this title so stupendous? Thank you for the compliment and the valid question young sir, I'm glad you asked it. Let's start with the fact you can fly. Ok, yes... Other MMOs have flying but as their promotional text states "Flying in Aion is not just a way to travel". Count on it being an aspect of the game on all levels including battle and questing - not AFKing.
Another awesome item of note is PvPvE, and no we're not talking about backstabbing a guy who's trying to kill a half-dead Zebra then proudly humping his corpse. The Aion combination is genuine and structured so that players fight players in an AI-controlled area, so count on watching your back while your party fights monsters of the abyss.

There are many other reasons to be excited: A potent and highly flexible crafting system, a dynamic and evolving combat system utilizing skill chains, and the amazing visuals that the NCSoft crew is renowned for. This is definitely worth checking out, so strap on that set of angel wings and prepare to take flight this weekend.
