First off, if you haven't gotten into the Closed Beta for Combat Arms - jump over HERE and do that right now. Imagine a more robust version of Counter-Strike with better graphics, and that's what you have. It includes an experience and money system that follows you game-to-game. It also is addicting and fun to play, fast and furious fragging action with the ever typical "STOP CAMPING" comments from the peanut gallery.
So things you need to know when first starting to play, gear up! On the very top of the screen once you login you'll see a "Shop/Storage" option, click it and you'll be taken to the store where you have a tab for both guns and equipment. Purchase what you have GP for, you'll notice you buy things for a period of time. If you want to just try something out, buy it for the day. My poison of choice is the MP4A4, a beautiful gun. This leads us on to the next part...
So you've bought your awesome gun, and now you want to pimp it out. No worries, click on "Modifications" at the top and select the weapon you wish to customize. As you can see above my MP5A4 was polished with love and care and I tagged on a S1 Suppressor, ACOG TA1 Scope and an Extended Magazine so it's ready to deal some serious damage. You can even add a silencer to a sniper rifle, my secondary weapon.
Lock and load soldier, and get ready to wreak some havoc. Remember you can pick up other people's guns in the game - so if you run out of GP to purchase things with be sure to take advantage. You will gain GP and Experience to rank up as you play game after game. Personally, I can't wait until they let us get some AUG action on. I'll see you on the battlefield.
