GDC has come and gone, and with it the IGF Finalists have been announced. IGF, standing for Independent Games Festival, celebrates developers that aren't backed by million dollar companies with gold ferraris. It's interesting to see what these brilliant minds can create with such simple graphics, the gameplay and story can suck you in...

Blueberry Garden
Winner of the prestitgious IGF awards in 2009, there is still no demo for this interesting title. Not much is known about it except that pherhaps it involves birds, towers, blueberries and party hats. While that doesn't make the best game premises, we trust the IGF judges.

GDC Super FUN time!

GDC 2009 is here, and not many trailers have been released just yet - still there are a few worth seeing including badgersaws, lush islands and mayhem. Read below if you dare!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - GDC Trailer
In Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 you'll not only play as the undeniably badass ninja Ryu Hayabusa but also as Dead or Alive's big-bosomed femme fatale, Ayane. Check out this GDC trailer for plenty of bouncing and slamming. I mean fighting, pervert. And this trailer has a lot of it!

CryEngine 3 - GDC Trailer
And you thought the CryEngine 2 was spiffy? Check out this new footage for CryEngine 3 which is being build with this generation consoles in mind. There was a lot of code re-writing involved when they began to create the 3rd CryEngine. IGN spoke with Crytek about it, read it here!

Postal 3 - GDC Trailer
First shown footage of the third in the despicable series, this is the Postal 3 trailer shown at GDC 2009. Expect blood-soaked pointless carnage in the forms of guns, gasoline and the terrifying "Badgersaw". The footage seems a little primitive, but the gameplay looks... err, Postal?
