Official mod for ‘Cossacks-Art of War’ released
With the cooperation of the games developers GSC, players Shaun Fletcher and Stefan Hertrich have created an expansive mod under the title ‘MOD1’ for this popular RTS. Developed to Include over 30 beautifully rendered and completely new units, and 3 new types of artillery, the mod makes many of the 18 nations in the game far more interesting and unique. ‘MOD1’ increases the number of unique units in the game by around 50% and offers far greater diversity and many new strategic options to players. The mod also includes larger formations to enhance control over the player’s armies and many other changes to enhance gameplay.
The new features in ‘MOD1’ are suitable for both single player and internet multiplayer use, and include changes and units requested by many members of the Cossacks online community.
