Play the entire ‘first episode’ of The Valhalla Classics (Speech Adventure), where you guide the little Prince of Valhalla through The Crypt, a desolate and treacherous area of the great castle of Valhalla. Having negotiated the two infamous trapped rooms you must solve a host of brain melting puzzles, before finally stealing the 4 Orbs of Infinity, from their Guardian protectors.

The Valhalla Classics are PC conversions of Vulcan's cult Speech Adventure games that were originally released for the Amiga in the mid-90's. Your task is to guide the principle character through a scrolling graphical world, who then comments on the actions you perform, with his extensive vocabulary of digital speech. Logical and lateral thinking are definitely required in order to solve the many devious puzzles throughout this humorous adventure game.

This download, includes the Vulcan Portal application (as the Valhalla Classics are played inside it). The Vulcan Portal is an advanced digital distribution application, that offers you the ability to download further episodes of this adventure game (if desired). All Portal functionality is layered with (real-time) 3d characters that communicate via dynamic synthetic speech. Portal users can also define their presence within the Vulcan Community, send and receive 3dVoiceMail and collect Vulcan's daily development 3dVoiceNews. These (optional) communication features require you to register (for free) at the Portals website to get your unique ID Number, giving you access to a community of Valhalla game players, whether it’s for help on some of the puzzles or simply to make new friends.
