Here is another patch for the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn unofficial expansion, The Darkest Day. This patch does NOT upgrade TDD to be ToB compatible, that will come later.
Starting fresh:
Install BG2:SoA.
Install the BG2:SoA official patch.
Install "The Darkest Day" expansion to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
Install "The Darkest Day" v1.0.2 Patch to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
You are done, and should not install any of Kevin Dorner's Baldurdash patches until he has a pack that is compatible with "The Darkest Day".
Already have BG2:SoA installed and may have some unofficial patches/files:
Regardless of what you think you may have installed, install the BG2:SoA official patch.
Install "The Darkest Day" expansion to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
Install "The Darkest Day" v1.0.2 Patch to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
You are done, and should not install any of Kevin Dorner's Baldurdash patches until he has a pack that is compatible with "The Darkest Day".
Already have BG2:SoA, TDD and TDD v1.0.1 patch installed and want to upgrade to TDD v1.0.2 patch:
Install "The Darkest Day" v1.0.2 Patch to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
You are done, and should not install any of Kevin Dorner's Baldurdash patches until he has a pack that is compatible with "The Darkest Day".
Currently have BG2:ToB installed and want to remove ToB and play TDD:
Uninstall ToB (this ruins your BG2:SoA install, if you try to play BG2:SoA now, it will not play).
Reinstall BG2:SoA.
Install the BG2:SoA official patch.
Install "The Darkest Day" expansion to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
Install "The Darkest Day" v1.0.2 Patch to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
You are done, and should not install any of Kevin Dorner's Baldurdash patches until he has a pack that is compatible with "The Darkest Day".
