How to use the patch
********************

Simply copy the robotwars.exe file into the folder that contains the
game files. If you installed the game using the default folder path,
you should copy the exe file to here:

C:\Program Files\BBC Worldwide\Robot Wars


How to tell if you've installed the patch correctly
***************************************************

If you're running the game with the new patch, you will see the text
"v1.2" in the bottom left-hand corner of the log-in and main menu screens.


What the patch fixes
********************

This patch has been created to fix the following problems:

1. The game not restarting after the screen resolution has been changed
from the default 640*480 display.

2. Unexpected characters appearing in text boxes when the shift, alt
and ctrl keys are pressed.

3. Not being able to use the mouse to click on buttons and options
after the screen resolution has been changed from the default 640*480
display.

4. Allowing the sound effects to be turned back on after they have
been turned off via the options screen.
