Bazooka Quake

This is a deathmatch mod that replaces all the weapons with various types of rockets. You have one weapon, the almighty bazooka, and just pick up different types of ammo to use. See what kind of ammo is available in additional information.

Weapons and ammo:

Machinegun - the machinegun replaces the gauntlet. It has unlimited ammo, but isn't much more than an annoyance.

Bazooka - this is the basic rocket you spawn with. It's pretty weak, but has a decent fire rate and you won't usually need to worry about ammo.

Concussion missiles - the concussion missiles leave a trail of rippling air in their wake. The blast isn't especially powerful, but the knockback is incredible.

Shrapnel bomb - it explodes into a mass of glowing-hot fragments when it hits anything. The bits of shrapnel have a small amount of splash damage when they hit the ground as well as impact damage.

RPG - It's a rocket-propelled grenade that keeps accelerating until it hits something, and then explodes into a large fireball. It doesn't fire quickly, but it does plenty of damage.

Rocket pods - a personal favorite. It's rather weak, and the accuracy is questionable, but it's launched in volleys of five. So no worries, eh?

Napalm - When the napalm rocket explodes, it throws several globs of quick-burning fuel which stick to nearby surfaces and burn merrily for a few seconds. Try not to be nearby while this happens, as it tends to melt away flesh and armor.

Laser-guided missiles - They can be steered after they are fired. Bear in mind that their turning radius is large, and if they can't see the laser pointer they'll fly in a straight line. However, they have a nice area of effect and fair strength.

Hellfire rocket - This is the big gun. It's a large, slow-moving rocket that creates a huge fireball on impact that will almost undoubtedly kill anything in the blast radius. You only get one shot per pickup, though, so make sure you aim well...

Game Modes:

Last Man Standing - When you lose all your lives, you're a spectator for the remainder of the round. So try not to die.

Soul survivor - Start with a handful of lives, lose them when you die. Kill people and steal their soul to gain more.

Escalation - Each frag you get doubles your stake and lowers your max health by 10. Cash them in at any time by standing still for 10 seconds, or go for just one more?

Weaponmaster - You start with all the weapons, but when you make a frag with one you lose it. Make a kill with all of them to start over.

Weaponmaster Extreme - You spawn with the Hellfire, and your weapon drops down a notch every time you make a kill. If you somehow survive to make a frag with all of them, you'll get a nice bonus.

Other modes:

Jetmatch - you spawn with a jetpack that has a nasty tendency to overheat. If it gets too bad, just go find some water to jump in. Try not to find out what happens when it's pushed beyond the manufacturer's specifications...

Timebomb - As if you didn't have enough worries without a block of C4 strapped to your chest. The only way to extend the timer is to kill.
