New 5.2 Features:

Plugins for telescope control (programmer's SDK available)
Images of deep-sky objects merged with the star display. You may add your own favorite photos and share with other Distant Suns users
Ability to turn off that startup music
You may add custom outlines to the sky to highlight favorite regions

Milky-Way outlines
Variable speed, back-and-forth "time slider" for much finer time control
Color printouts
Distant Suns is in full 32 bits color
Considerably faster than previous versions
Support for Direct3D when you have your system set to hi-color (thousands or millions of colors).
New textures for Saturn, Jupiter, Earth and the Moon for use in the Direct3D mode.
Translucent rings for Saturn when using DirectX6
The interface has been updated to support Windows 95 standards.
The navigator has been stripped down, as the previous one was too complicated for its own good.
