Half-Life:

Take on the role of Gordon Freeman, a technician at the Black Mesa Research Facility where you work with anomalous materials. When a specimen of unknown origin comes into the facility, Gordon is sent in to investigate. During testing, something goes terribly wrong and an alternate time rift is opened. Alien creatures are suddenly running rampant throughout the facility - killing scientists and other civilians. Forced to find out what's going on and more importantly, survive, Gordon is thrown into an adventure where he has to figure out who is still alive, why these creatures are here and how he can stop government "cleaners" from killing him in the process.
