Here is a nice patch for Journey's End bringing you up to version 1.10 with lots of cool stuff. See more info for all the changes included in this update.
Changes:
-ActiveX Mediaplayer no longer used for in-game music, increasing game speed.
-Memory management improved.
-Trigger, State, and Enemy systems now dynamic to support unlimited numbers of each, for complex puzzles and quests.
-Class specific starting items (no editor yet, but "classes.cls" file is pretty self-explanatory)
-Certain quest-scripting related bugs were found and fixed.
-Nasty pre-rendered intro removed and replaced with real-time cutscene (see below)
Additions:
-Large number of in-game real-time cutscenes appear at various points in the game quest. (New CUTed editor program to script the cutscene)
-Magic users now enhance ANY magic weapon or armor by the magnitude of their magic level. This makes being a magic user much more advantageous than before.
-Editing Programs now MUCH more integrated through the use of a standardized "CRD" coordinate file that can be shared between them. That means coordinates can easily be swapped through the editing programs. Very useful to find coordinates to use in cutscenes.
-JEditor's interface has a few more buttons to aid in actor manipulation.
