Q2Admin Workbench (Linux)
This is a great anti cheat utility for Quake 2 that works with other mods.
Some of the features that it provides are:
zbot detection (multiple ways to detect zbot users including commonly hacked zbots).
advanced banning (ip and nick), including exclude and include banning, sub-net user limiting, passwords on nicks, etc.
advanced logging. The admin can setup upto 32 log files with a custom layout lines logging user selected information..
chat filtering / flood protection as well as custom command flood protection.
limited rcon's, the admin can setup multiple rcon's that are limited to specific server commands, basically if a op what's to give out the map and other server console commands to people without having to give away the full rcon.
global motd.
displays nick changes. (as well as flood protection on name changes)
added client commands play_all, play_team, play_person and say_person.
client side admin features for the dll.
maxrate / max cl_maxfps.
client control commands.
server console chat commands.
client muting
