Just Do It! Another C&C classic. I don't know how Frank Klepacki did it, so many hits in the original Command & Conquer game...unbelievable. One of the more funkier beats, was Just Do It!. In it's time it was a very catchy progressive breakbeat/hip-hop tune, and I've tried to capture that same image but with a slight new sound. The reason for the Dune Buggy name is because I imagine I would be playing this tune pretty loud in my NOD dune buggy when zooming past those damned and slow GDI tanks.
Once again I've taken a C&C tune and sped it up a bit, this time tho, the guitar samples still sound pretty original, and it also gives the 'Just Do It' voice chick a chipmunk effect, groovy. :) The bassline to this tune is catchy and funky, and also very Klepacki! Took me a while to work out the details but I got it and did my best to reproduce it. Breakbeats went pretty well here, not the smoothest of them all, but it seems to add texture. Remember to play it loud next time you're in a dune buggy!
