The first Starwars 3D action game was so perfect! LucasArts definately have the best story writers in the whole game industry. The music, ofcourse, was just as pleasing. Unlike modern Starwars games, the music was not just John Williams' work done in MIDI, which I'm not saying is bad, just a bit overdone. Dark Forces had that plus a lot of amazing Williams inspired original score. I fell in love with one of the tunes that played very suttle throught out the whole game and at the end, came out as a powerful orchestral piece. Clint Bajakian did an incredible job.

Mixing this song came almost naturally. The only problems that really arose were those of choosing the order of the tunes, but at the end I think I got it just about right. A lot of little extras were put it just before I finished the mix, which I found to be a great asset the overall feel. It's a mix that has 'mixed' emotions aswell, it starts a bit dark, then hits off to a more inspirational theme, and varies between the two moods through out the whole song. On a side note, theres a tiny bit of John Williams in here if you can pick it up. :)
