C&C Groove Session is part 1 of a smooth jungle/d'n'b mix featuring tunes/basslines from various Command & Conquer tunes. In part 1 songs include Dense, Take Em' Out & Warfare. I always wanted to do something like this and since C&C has so many groovy tunes, it was perfect. I tried to make the drums and the bass smooth as possible.
There are two different basses running through this mix, one is a deep sin-wave loop, the other a more electronic almost-fuzz thing to it. The drums are very smooth kick and snare wise, the hihating and cymbal hits are a little more full and panned around. It wasn't easy finding a good synth string to run the chords with either, but I found something that worked well enough. Might also mention that the 'Warfare bells' were very nicely done by Klepacki, very unique method.
