Steel Soldiers is the sequel to 1996’s highly acclaimed, 500,000 unit selling "Z" (pronounced "Zed"). The title places gamers in the role of commander of an army of personable robot troops. A long and burdensome, interplanetary war has been raging on between two mega-corporations, with the mechanical troops carrying out the trench warfare.
