Description: Baldur's Gate II Sound Sets - All 16 NPCs

Includes 16 voice sets from all 16 Baldur's Gate II NPCs, edited so they may be used by characters of any name, race, class, or alignment.


Almost all the sound sets available in the 'net were designed for Baldur's Gate 1, which only had about 23 sounds per set. The sequel supports about 37 sounds, so I compiled new sets to take advantage of this feature.

I "generalized" these files by removing of distinguishing characteristics in the original sets. I took out specific references to race, class, alignment, and/or space hamsters. Quotes that were "too evil" or "too goody" were omitted as well. So most (not all) these files can be used by characters of any name, class, race, or alignment.

I compiled sound sets from all 16 NPCs in Baldur's Gate 2 (including the "Female Edwin" voice), and Annah from Planescape. They are available individually, or as a zipped compilation. Big thanks to Biffworkshop from TeamBG.
