Fightclub is a quake 3 launching/configuration and benchmarking tool.

The following issues are known to exist with the current version of Fightclub:

- The Help file/Manual is incomplete and some parts are out of date. This will not be updated until Fightclub is finished. There is still more than enough there to get you started though.

- Some settings may not actually work in the game, or might work in the wrong way. I've tested most commonly used settings, but with all the various combinations there are bound to be some things that don't work. Please let me know if you find anything.

- As yet, Fightclub has only been tested on Voodoo3 and Voodoo2 cards. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work with nvidia cards, but you never know.

- If you bind enough aliases to make the cfg file sufficiently large, Quake 3 will produce an error and not execute ANY of the config. You should unbind some aliases and try again.

- The "Video Presets" option under the "Tools" menu DOES NOT DO ANYTHING YET. Repeat: it doesn't do anything.

- The program will accept two command line options. o= is used to specify a file to open. r= is used to specify a file that will be loaded, and quake3 launched immediately. With the proper registry setup, you can just double-click on a Fightclub fcc file and quake will be launched with that file's settings. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to set up the registry on your computer yet (work fine on MINE though!), so this doesn't work.

Installation

To install Fightclub, run the setup.exe that is in the zip file. You may have to reboot your computer before the installation can take place. If so, you will have to restart setup manually.

The first time you run Fightclub, you will be asked to find the quake3.exe program on your hard disk.
