A vastly improved user interface for Quake 3 Arena which adds a new model management system, a new map selection system, and an excellent config save/load feature.


AdvancedUI v1.3 for Quake3Arena
===============================

This is a new ui.qvm file for Quake3Arena. It adds the following UI inprovements:
+A new model management system which is much better than the old one (believe me on this!). Now it can display 30 model/skins on each screen instead of only 16.
+A new map selection system which displays 12 maps instead of 4 and has a listmode that can display 48 maps at once (but only the names, no pictures).
+Re-enabled save/load config feature
+Reworked demo code, now clicking on an option loads that demo
+Add ability for more maps
+Add non-graphical map rotation list
+Show more bots on addbot screen (and made it skip down by 1 page instead of 1 line) + new background gfx to fit more in (doesn't look very pretty but it works).

Installation
------------
Uncompress this zip file into you baseq3 directory and run Quake 3 Arena. If the pak9.pk3 file conflicts with a pak file you currently have then rename it something pakX.pk3, simple.

Just do like you would before but enjoy the improvements

Map Rotation List - The map rotation list is a series of cvars with names like maplist1 and maplist2. They are saved in your config file to make it easier to run maplists. The easiest way to edit them is with the start server menu stuff, manual editing is a challenge. Doing it this way means no special server dll is required to use AUI.

**IMPORTANT IF YOU DON'T READ ANYTHING ELSE READ THIS**
To edit the map list just type in the names of the maps seperate by ;'s. For example:
q3dm1;q3dm7;q3dm17
