This is a conversion of a classic Quake level. It's pretty true to form, although the scale of the map seems a little constrictive for the Q3A engine.Instructions:

1 ) Extract zfxq1dm1.pk3 into your Quake3/baseq3/ directory
2 ) Start Quake3
3 ) To play "The Place of Two Deaths" type "map zfxq1dm1"
- Bots are good to go on this Map
Gameplay Specifics:
-------------------
Well I played the original Quake for hours and hours on end.
I ditched classes to play the game on-line, and I loved every
minute of it.
The one thing I think made the game so great was the level
designs, and this was probably one of my top 3 favorite map's.
All I did was take the original level, re-textured EVERYTHING,
added weapons, health, armor ect... and spruced it up a bit.
Added a haste and invisibility, changed the lighting, added a few
cylinders, but overall it's the same map.

Build time : I have no idea, I dont keep track of these things
Compile time : 23 mins, 1 min for bot compile

Well i don't know the legality of converting and editing an ID map,
but any copyright's regarding to ID should apply.
The only thing I ask is that I get some credit for spending the time
converting and re-editing the map, and that this file is included
if you distribute this map
Don't stick this map on any CD's or try to charge for it, you will
probably piss of ID more then me, since it is originally their map.
