++ FIGHTER SQUADRON: BETA PATCH ++

Please note that this patch is Beta software, and is not yet fully
supported by Activision. If you experience problems with this patch,
please look to Activision's website (www.activision.com) for a fully
supported patch.

This patch for Fighter Squadron will correct the following problems:

(1) Some CD-ROM drives are having trouble reading the CD, prompting
users to insert the CD when the CD is already in the drive.
(2) A fatal exception error reported by some users in conjunction with
the product's renderer detection.

This patch will modify your existing Fighter Squadron executable, and
will look for this executable in the default directory
C:\Program Files\Fighter Squadron. If you have installed Fighter
Squadron to another directory, you will need to modify the path on the
next screen.

IMPORTANT:

Use this patch ONLY IF you have not installed a previous Fighter
Squadron patch. This patch is for users with the official released
executable, as follows:
