TessMark v0.3.0
Tessmark is an
OpenGL
benchmark and a tech demo which uses new hardware tessellation (or GPU tessellation) features exposed by the OpenGL 4 API and available on the latest graphics cards such as NVIDIA GeForce GTX480 or the ATI Radeon HD 5870. Hardware tessellation allows diving of a polygon into smaller ones (according to the tessellation level factor) in order to increase the polygon's density: the higher the polygon density. A strong GPU is required for a high tessellation level.
Hardware tessellation (OpenGL or Direct 3D 11) requires Geforce GTX 400 Series (i.e. GTX 460, GTX 470, GTX 480) or Radeon HD 5000 series (i.e. HD 5770 or the HD 5870).
TessMark proposes four fixed tessellation levels: moderate, normal, extreme and insane. The benchmark includes several options allowing the user to tweak the rendering: fullscreen or windowed mode, MSAA selection, window size, duration of the benchmark.
