Fallout: New Vegas - Candora's Box Mod

This mod adds to New Vegas what was missing from the very start. It is not to difficult to imagine that your character could possibly have supernatural abilities in a post-nuclear world where super mutants, mirelurks and deathclaws all exist. Anyway what this mod does is give you some amazing abilities to use in the game all having their own advantages and disadvanatges. Some of the spells are more powerful than others but every single spell has different strengths.

in order to use these powers you have to find a unique and special ingestible item which can NOT be found at any vendor. The item is called "Pandora's Blood" and when ingested you gain ALL of the powers at once and you can use them at will as many times as you want for 3 minutes before the effect wares off and the powers once again become dormant. However with great power comes... great drawbacks... because every time this powerful item is used their is a good chance you will become addicted and suffer VERY ill effects. Their is also a note automatically added in-game reminding you of what each spell does.

Materia: Red Flare - Causes fire damage to foes (and allies) and inflicts burn damage over 9 seconds.

Materia: Freeze - Instantly freezes your foes (and allies) therefore completely stunning them for 14 seconds.

Materia: Regeneration - Heals allies (and foes) for a small amount of health instantly and a great amount of health over 12 seconds.

Materia: Force - Knocks down foes (and allies) and possibly stuns them for 3 seconds.

Materia: Summon Deathclaw - Instantly calls a Deathclaw to assist you and slaughter your enemies.

Materia: Summon Deathclaw (hostile) - Instantly calls a Deathclaw to assist you and slaughter your enemies as well as neutral targets, very great for causing havoc.

The powers themselves are known as Materia (if you play FF7 you can see the resemblance) and every spell is unique having different advantages and disadvantages while some are even dangerous to you, it all depends on how good your aim and your trigger finger is. All spells are explosions which means you do NOT target the enemy but you focus on hitting the ground to create an area of effect so that anything within the affected area will be hit by the spell your using.

INSTALL/UNINSTALL:

1. Download the ZIP folder (main download) to a location of your choosing.

2. Copy the ESP file (Candora's Box - Blood Of Pandora) found inside the ZIP folder to the Data folder located in your Fallout New Vegas folder directory.

3. Activate the mod by checking it in the mod list seen in Fallout New Vegas Mod Manager.

4. All done.

5. To uninstall simply delete the ESP and the other Data files.
