// INSTALLATION

Prior to installing Warm Gun, ensure that you have the following:
- Installed Unreal Tournament 3 with a valid CD Key
- Updated Unreal Tournament 3 to the most recent patch
(at the time of this release, the most recent patch is Version 2.1)

[Installer]
Run the installer included with your download to have Warm Gun installed
properly on your computer

[Manual Install - CD/DVD Version]
- EXTRACT THE FILES
Extract the files from the archive to the Unreal Tournament 3 folder found
at "My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3". Upon doing this, there
will now be a WarmGun folder in the directory.

- CREATE THE EXECUTABLE
Navigate to the folder that contains the UT3 executable file. It will be
something similar to this:
"D:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries"
Right-click on the "UT3.exe" executable file, and click "Create Shortcut"
Rename this shortcut to "Warm Gun"

- SET THE COMMANDLINE
Right-click on the shortcut that we just created and renamed, then click
on "Properties". Under the shortcut tab, we will be working with the
"Target" heading. In the Target box, you should see the location of your
UT3 executable file in quotations. After the last quote in this box, add:
-mod=..\WarmGun -solomod
Upon doing this, the new Target line should now read something similar to:
"D:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" -mod=..\WarmGun -solomod
Click "Apply" to finalize these settings

- LAUNCH WARM GUN
Execute the shortcut and play the game!

[Steam Users]
Installation for Steam users is a little different from the previous instructions.

- EXTRACT THE FILES
Extract the files exactly as specified in the previous section for the CD/DVD
version of the game.

- CREATE THE EXECUTABLE
Open up Steam, log into your account, and navigate to the "My Games" tab.
Right-click on "Unreal Tournament 3" and select "Create Desktop Shortcut".

- SET THE COMMANDLINE
Navigate to your desktop, right-click on the shortcut created in the previous
instruction, and select properties. Add the following to the end of the target
line:
-mod=..\WarmGun -solomod
So now your target line should look similar to:
"D:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 13210 -mod=..\WarmGun -solomod

- LAUNCH THE GAME
Execute the shortcut and play the game!

For this initial release of Warm Gun, there are two gametypes with one
custom map for each of them.

[WGDeathmatch]
Map: WG-HeartOfDarkness

Description: Welcome to the "Heart of Darkness", an underground haven for
smugglers, traders, outlaws and wanderers. The natural cave structures mixed
with old world mining operations have created a perfect refuge from the harsh
climate above.

- Dedicated server for WGDeathmatch
Create a copy of the Warm Gun shortcut created during installation and change
the additional target line commands to:
Server WG-HeartOfDarkness?game=WarmGun.WGDeathmatch?IsDedicated=true -mod=..\WarmGun

[WGCTF]
Map: WG-RedRiverCanyon
Description: The river runs red with the blood of the earth, while the ground soaks
up the blood of men.

- Dedicated server for WGCTF
Create a copy of the Warm Gun shortcut created during installation and change
the additional target line commands to:
Server WG-RedRiverCanyon?game=WarmGun.WGCTF?IsDedicated=true -mod=..\WarmGun
