Description: Unreal Tournament 3 - The Last Stand
The goal was to make a character driven piece that told a story and be less than a minute in length and I am quite pleased with the results. The characters used are from the Two Souls character pack that ships with Unreal 3. The soundtrack is also from Unreal 3. These characters are not spawned pawns (bots) but animated skeletal meshes but I wanted use them as they are excellent high detail models. I used different parts of both base and cinematic animation sets to get the various motions that I wanted. Using Matinee I was able to speed up or slow down the selected animation. Lastly the final shot was achieved by pulling the camera back and key framing between a small field of view (FOV) and large one and adding a slight upwards tilt.Make Something Unreal Submission:
