-Getting started-

In order to get Sanctum to work, you need to do the following:

1. Place the folder "Sanctum" in My Documents/UserName/My Games/Unreal Tournament 3

2. Right click on the file "Sanctum Unpublished" and go into the Properties window.

3. Replace the shortcut Target with your Unreal Tournament 3 .exe (UT3.exe) file followed by
-mod=..\Sanctum -useunpublished.

For example:

"C:\Games\Unreal tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" -mod=..\Sanctum -useunpublished

You also need to clear the "Start in" field in your Sanctum Unpublished properties in order to get your .exe working.

4. Execute the game using the Sanctum Unpublished.exe file

5. Enjoy! (Read the Tutorial underneath for important information to get started in-game)


-Tutorial-

Sanctum is a tower defense game mixed with a first person shooter.

Due to a bug in our scripting, you'll need to press "Fire" after the map has been loaded in order to make the first cutscene start and initiate the game.

Most of the gameplay is pretty straight forward, but in order to get started at the beginning of the game
you need to head towards the large screens to your right after the introduction sequence. Below each these screens
you'll see keyboards, in order to choose a maze you need to press your "Use" key on one of these keyboards.

The rest of the game is explained on the large Tutorial screen that's next to the Maze screens inside of the game.

Sanctum is a game developed by students at Högskolan i Skövde. The Sanctum Project started 30/3 -09
and it's still a work in progress. Since we're still early in the development process several features
are missing and there are loads of bugs to sort out.
