Description: Skulltag in Xfire v1.00

This is an add-on for Skulltag or Xfire - whichever way you choose to look at it. The only file it actually modifies is Xfire's game data file.

Skulltag in Xfire causes Xfire to show the names of the WAD files running on your current Skulltag server in the InfoView panel when your friends click on you. It also enables the Join Game button in Xfire for Skulltag games. Unfortunately it was impossible to enable users to join a Skulltag server with one click in Xfire, so you are required to enter the WAD information yourself after clicking Join Game. However, this is simple, as you just need to type the name(s) of the server's PWAD(s) in the PWADs field, separated by commas, and the name of the server's IWAD (if it's anything other than Doom2.wad) in the IWAD field. Remember, this information will be displayed clearly for you if the person you are joining also has Skulltag in Xfire installed.


INSTALLATION

Make sure you install the program to your Skulltag folder.

To enable Xfire's Join Game button just run STinXf.exe once and then restart Xfire.

To allow your Xfire friends to see your current game's WAD information when launching from IDE:
1. Open Internet Doom Explorer (normal edition or Skulltag Edition)
2. Click on the Options tab and then click on the Programs page under the Directories section
3. Under Client programs path -> Skulltag (or just "Skulltag programs location" in IdeSE) replace "skulltag.exe" with "stinxf.exe" (leaving the directory path as it is)
