INSTALLATION

----------------------------------------

1. Unzip contents of the archive into Fallout 3 "Data" subfolder.

2. If you DON'T use Archive Invalidation Invalidated, step to point 3, else that's all.

3. If already not, change bInvalidateOlderFiles option in fallout.ini (found in Documents\My Games\Fallout3) from 0 to 1:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

4. Add to ArchiveInvalidation.txt (file in installation folder of the game):

textures/sky/masser_full.dds

textures/sky/masser_half_wan.dds

textures/sky/masser_half_wax.dds

textures/sky/masser_one_wan.dds

textures/sky/masser_one_wax.dds

textures/sky/masser_three_wan.dds

UNINSTALLATION

If you have added entries from INSTALLATION point 4, remove them now.

Remove below files from your Fallout 3 game "Data\Textures\sky" subfolder:

masser_one_wax.dds

masser_three_wan.dds

masser_three_wax.dds

- Initial release: bright 1024x1024 textures of Moon

0.1.1 (19 Nov 2008):

- Bug fix: removed white edge around dark portions of the moon

- Removed mipmaps from files - DDS size reduced from 1.3 MB to 1 MB (I didn't see any difference between Moon with textures using them or not)

0.1.2 (21 Nov 2008):

- Bug fix: added again mipmaps to textures (previously 0.1.1-mip) - this resolved problems on some machines

0.2.0 (23 Nov 2008):

- Decreased slightly contrast of bright moon textures

- Added alternative darker textures of moon as separate archive

Archive is compressed by 7-Zip open-source file archiver to ZIP format.

If there is any problem with uncompressing it by your decompressor, try it with 7-Zip before posting error.
