One of Capcom's all-time great franchises returns with this re-envisioned modern version of Bionic Commando. 10 years after the original gamers are once again playing the role of Nathan Spencer (aka "Rad" Spencer), a highly decorated government operative that distinguished himself in battle against a group known as the Imperials in events in the original Bionic Commando.Spencer gets betrayed by his commander Super Joe and gets sentenced to death for crimes Spencer didn't commit. However, a terrorist group Bio-Rain destroys Ascension City with am experimental weapon and takes control of the city. Super Joe offer Spencer a chance at clearing his name if he defeats Bio-Rain. Spencer springs back into action with a new improved bionic arm.
