Description: Unreal Tournament 3 - CTF-Skyhook

A LooseScrew research center recently sold to the NEG as a jail. Suspended high above the atmosphere, respawners are the safety system of choice for those who accidentally slip. As a result, shielding is available for the FLaG.


To activate the flag shielding, press the button (with use/enter vehicle key) on the console in the bottom floor of the 'Pie in the Sky' cafe. When the powernode turns your colour, your flag is shielded. Don't worry though, the flag carrier can enter his own teleporter to the flag.

Opposite Pie in the Sky is the old office building. This is where all the jailers keep their ammo including a wire-guided nuclear warhead on the roof for those invariable riots.

Control the ammo? Dominate the flag shielding? Or just rush for the flag? Your choice.

Oh, and Loose Screw Research is not liable for any personal injury or permanent death incurred for improper handling of the Field Lattice Generators.

CTF Skyhook, 8-16 players, professional teams preferable for strategy sake.

Abstract: Typical Capture the Flag with a lock-down system to disable enemies from physically reaching your flag.

AI Pathing was skipped for this build as it would be too difficult to tell the bots how to use and prioritize the flag-shielding switch... which originally was supposed to be an Onslaught unlinked node but that couldn't be done in any reasonable timeframe (would need to trick CTF flags and Onslaught nodes to somehow play on the same gametype)

Note: A recent crash lost the build of the map (and oddly enough the autosaves weren't available for today). Luckily I was able to recover most of functional aspects except for the lifts.

There SHOULD be lifts on either side of both bases (the two teleporters in each base which seemingly lead nowhere) to the helipad and the bottom floor of the office... as well as a final lift from the basement of the office to the top floor. Those were lost in the crash. Slightly more detail was added, but not a whole lot -- mostly just better lighting and lightmaps.

A vCTF level is also to be submitted with a fury on the Helipad.
