Better Tomorrow (BT3) is a Total Conversion Mod for Civilization 4 Beyond the Sword. BT3 focus on 8 main features, traits & people, HDI, Environment, Alternative Unit Workshop, 4 economic type, UN transaction, Role Playing, and a better tomorrow. BT3 also have three Main Themes to fit your playing style!

BT3 is a role playing game allowing players to do what they want! Highly encourage players to play in Renaissance Age or Industrial age for better game experience.

1. Human Development Index:

civic: HDI + Mylon's Large City mod + Health/Happiness policy

Human Development Index (HDI) is the normalized measure of life expectancy, literacy, education, standard of living, and GDP per capita for countries worldwide. It is a standard means of measuring well-being, especially child welfare. It is used to determine and indicate whether a country is a developed, developing, or underdeveloped country and also to measure the impact of economic policies on quality of life. -Wikipedia

To maintain a high level Health/Happiness is cruical. Civic: HDI is a powerful lever enhancing your people's disposition.

To be specialized cities or not to be, is also a question. Mylon's Large City mod offer players a great opportunity to forge a uber specialized city and centralized country. However, civic: HDI encourage players to keep all cities balanced, and well developed.

2. Environmental Care:

civic: Sustainable Development + Resource Depletion Event(in progress) + Climate Change Event(in progress)

Climate change is the variation in the Earth's global climate or in regional climates over time. It involves changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over durations ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by dynamic process on Earth, external forces including variations in sunlight intensity, and more recently by human activities. -Wikipedia

Environmental issue is a serious problem in the present day. With Human development, there are many thing we left behind, the green land, the resource from the mother Gaia, and the respect to the Nature. We are on the turning point, and it's time for us to do what we can.

Effect(++)

Animism: No effect

Pre-industrial Age: Improvements will collapse in a certain chance

Industrial Age: Resource depletion, Climate Change

Consumer Age: Resource depletion (Especially Oil), Climate Change greatly

Green Economics: No effect

(NOTE: When Resource Depletion Event & Climate Change Event are completed, I will enhance the civic: Industrial Age & Consumer Age)

3. Alternative Unit Workshop:

Armory + Advance Research Lab. + "Broken Star: Buy Promotion" + Tons of Extentable Promotion + Lots of coin$

Armory, Advance Research Lab. will provide the unit produced in this city with certain promotions such as weapon support, and Advanced Weapon. With these promotion, unit can access many special promotions such as Depleted Uranium Shell, Perfect Stealth, and so on.

"Broken Star: Buy Promotion" also included in BT3.

If you have a lots of money like America, then go to tailor your goddamn strongest army, Gerneral!

4. The Future will be Better Tomorrow:

civic: A Better Tomorrow + 25 future tech + 20+ building +13 new units + 20 new promotions

With powerful future tech, players can lead his country to Eudaemonia, or Borg-like society. Many decision is an unturning point, which makes the late game become more bloody.

*Chinese have Chu-Ko-Nu, Super worker & Super Work Boat.

*Russian have more Pioneers at the start of the game.(++)

*Russian have Town Center and Research Institute.

*Focus on your advantage. eg.

**American have powerful "Melting Pot", and then focus your research in Fiber Optics.

**Russian have many pioneers (aka settler) at start. Go to Occupy the resourceful point!

**Chinese have Uber farm, uber fishing trap, uber workshop, and Urban Spawl, make good use of them.

*Focus on one road in Future tech. Chase two rabbits and you get none of them!

*To specialized a city, or forge a great metropolis is rewardable. However, balance development is also feasible way to victory, don't forget civic: HDI!

- Apollo Project rename to "Voyage to Alpha Centauri".

- Prerequisite tech: "Fusion".

- New culture level.
