Unreal Tournament 3 - VCTF-Avalanche-v2 (PS3)
This is the second iteration of Epic's WAR-Avalanche for VCTF. Version 2 is a scaled-down map of Avalanche for 10-20 slot servers.
Changes made from original map include:
1 Eliminated center cavern (too easy for peeps to get turned around inside)
2 Cut the center section completely out of the terrain, decreasing the map size by 30% in length & 10% in width.
3 Deleted the two sub-bases at the bottom of stairs.
4 Added Raptor, Cicada, Viper, & Scavenger (1 each) per team.
5 Added Flak Cannon to Weapon Lockers.
6 Increased StallZ from 2000 units to 4500 units to allow for flying vehicles
7 Added Blocking Volume ceiling just above StallZ, to prevent flying Scavenger bug exploits.
8 Removed Blur actor, as it impaired visibility while flying.
9 Added Skydome & re-adjusted lighting.
10 Added 12 health vials to each base by stairs.
11 Added two medium health packs on either side of center structure.
12 Added Bio-Rifle pickups near center structure.
13 Placed UDamage, Redeemer, & Berserk in center structure.
14 Added Volume PathNodes for AI Bot support for flying vehicles.
15 Added additional FogSheets mid-map to discourage Base-to-Base sniping.
16 Created new MiniMap.
