This is a single-player map for Far Cry. Playing at night, fight against mercenaries and mutants using weapons like the silenced SMG or the rocket launcher in order to complete different objectives.

2. Installation
Copy the folder named "Echsen" into your FarCry "Levels" folder.
To start the map, open the console via ^ and type \map echsen (you get the \ with TAB). Start the map with "Return".
To load a savegame after beeing out of the game, start the map via the console and choose a savegame from the menu. You can't choose savegames from the menu if the map was not loaded before.

BETA2 features are:
-Fixed bug causing the game to crash when shooting vehicles with AI
-Mutants do fire their guns now
-Smarter mercenary AI
-Some formerly untextured spots are now textured/ textured more accurate
-Changed/ added some events
-Some environment improvements
-Changed battle soundtrack
-Changed day time/ lightning
Known bugs in this version (BETA2):
-Framerate can drop excessively sometimes. Reason unknown.
More:
-Vegetation, geometry and especially textures at some spots are not final.
I don't have the time to finish this right now. I thought before it rots on my harddrive, i'll release it in beta state.
Nevertheless, the map has been tested and is fully playable. Enjoy it or not. I'm happy about feedback of all kind (except viruses)..
4. Hints
~Health packs and armors are rare. Keep an eye out for them.
-Use your binocular to spot enemies before they spot you.
~Use bushes to hide.
~Switch to single shot, if an enemy is far away, this will improve your accuracy.
~Try different tactics or ways to master harder sections of the map.

This map is not made or supported by Crytek and is free of charge. Feel free to copy and burn.
Changing any parts of the map or the code is not allowed. Readme file has to be included with every copy.
