INSTALLATION
After downloading the Clan mod, an automatic installer will launch. It will create a desktop shortcut and even ask you for launching the mod directly. The mod will not affect your original BF2142 game in any way - you click the desktop shortcut for BF2142 when you want to start the original game and play ranked and you click the desktop shortcut for the Clan mod when you want to play the mod.

CLAN MOD 1.0 RELEASE!
The CLAN MOD has, after a few beta releases, reached its first full release! Many thanks to all clans that participated in the betas, you were all an important part in the making of this first full release. Also, a BIG Thank You to Mach10, coder of the all-new Server Administrating script.

With this fancy new script, you can control the server through the in-game chat. When you are ready for a RS LIVE (restart), simply type !ready in the chat. As soon as at least one player from both teams have done this, there will be a countdown in which you can abort the RS and then the round will restart. You can also use the !map command to change map the same way. For more information, read the "Server administration readme" included in all client and server versions of the mod. Another great addition is that you no longer need 2142cc to set up your windows server, simply follow the readme instructions and then launch the desktop shortcut!

Now to some gameplay changes. The squad leader beacon has been removed by public request - it creates a lot of exploits and is a bit buggy in BF2142. The smoke grenade has been added to the assault kit for some extra tactics. The smoke is pretty weak though, so don't expect too much from the grenade. The sprint has been tweaked to a more sensible value and the knife bug in BF2142 should be fixed. Medic & Ammo hub as well as the repair ability has been slightly increased, like the corresponding unlock in BF2142.
