Story
Date - 13th November 2493. Location - Valles Marineris Tunnel System, Mars.
72 hours ago, the orbital satellite lost all contact with the MRS1 Colony. Since then on-going dust storms have prevented any satellite-supported bioscan of the region. All the signs point to a terrible catastrophe.
The international Federation of States reacts surprisingly fast, forming an emergency task force made up of politicians, military personnel and representatives of leading financial companies. Just 30 minutes after contact was lost, the task force goes into action: the supply ship "SS Callisto", en route to Jupiter, is
ordered to change course for Mars - at full speed.
After 48 hours of hurtling through the vast emptiness of space, it finally goes into orbit around the Red Planet. The ship's depth scans can reach the upper levels of the Mars underground space station, but weak energy signals and bio-signatures only generate a fuzzy image. In spite of the military's misgivings because of the apparent danger of this mission, the emergency task force votes to have the private escort of the supply ship fly down to the planet's surface to try to find out what has gone wrong.
With only minimum weaponry, the Gunship Apocalypse enters the atmosphere and sets course for the colony's underground tunnel system. Your mission: to evacuate any survivors and to ascertain all you can about the circumstances that led to this situation.
