This Bf42 map pack contains 3 infantry, 2 air, and 1 assault map. Both air maps and 2 of the infantry maps are CTF playable.
To play my maps, place them in your EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\bf1942\levels folder (wherever that may be). That’s it, load them up and play. Sorry, no single player, instead call a friend and tell them to get my map and start a server.
MAPS
Airwar Axis vs Allies: a CTF and Conquest map, all in the air. I’ve taken measures to avoid camping and ensure fairness. Don’t read the Conquest flag names too fast or you might say something funny ?.
Airwarrior Pacific Map: I can’t remember if I made this CTF as well or not right now, and I just finished it and don’t care to open it again because I’m lazy. This map is based off the awesome Kesmai game (which, rather ironically, EA bought and quickly killed). The textures are simple, I almost just painted the map a solid green and brown, but decided to be a LITTLE more modern than that. The map is based off the Real Time Pacific map, but it’s more like the half-time version (less islands and closer together).
For Every Inch: A close-combat city fight. The kits you cannot spawn with (sniper and medic) spawn inside the main base of each team, but in limited numbers.
Pandemonium: DO NOT PLAY IN CTF. I forgot to make the flags, and making another version would make the guys who have the old need to figure out why it crashes when they load. The Conquest works fine, it is a super-close combat map in Hell. Walk around, read the floor a little, or better yet, crawl the whole time to see enemies from further away.
Skye_City: There’s one flag in Conquest, and there is no pole. So where is the flag? HELLO! The flag name is the well. It’s an infantry battle in the sky (literally, I pulled the buildings and sidewalk up so no one can floorhack, it would look cool, and I wouldn't have to texture the stupid ground (it all comes back to that lazy thing)).
Urban Assault: The Americans are rushing into a German city packed with MGs, buildings, and enemies ready to blow their enemies up. Great for any large group, the building provide great places to zook the enemy tanks before they can know where you are.
