This simply is a pre-optimized oblivion.ini file, it should give a preformance increase on most systems without changing the visuals, but that may not be the case, be sure to back up your original first!! See more info..


It doesnt change any of the visual-affecting settins such as the common grass density setting etc, but rather sets the "threads" settings and the preload settings to good values that worked well on my system. (some recommended changes in tweak guides actually decreased preformance!).

Note, the memory management setting is optimized for people with 2 gigs of ram!
I went trough each and every group of settings, checked the differences with fraps, and then went on to the next!
