Description: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Fake HDR Lighting Mod v1.1
This mod adds a fake HDR effect usable by anyone with a sm2.0 graphics card, and which is also fully comptable with AA. There is a speed hit, and it probably doesn't look as good as the real thing either. (Since I don't have a sm3.0 graphics card, and can barely play oblivion without it CTDing anyway, I cant see what the real thing looks like.)This mod is not completely compatable with ATI tray tools. Attempting to run oblivion, its launcher or the CS while ATT is running and this mod is installed may result in a CTD on startup. If it does, you should be able to fix it turning off the OSD. (right-click the ATT icon, then click "Tools & Options|OnScreen Display", and uncheck "General Settings|Enable OnScreen Display")
To install, just extract the contents of the zip file to oblivions base folder. The 'd3d9.dll' file should end up in the same folder as oblivion.exe. There's no need to activate any esps or anything.
The effect can be toggled on and off in game by hitting the '+' key on the numpad. You can also toggle single pixel mode by hitting numpad '-' and toggle AffectMenus by hitting numpad '*'
The shader is easily tweakable; see the readme for details. (I haven't spent much time tweaking it myself, due to oblivions deep and personal hatred of my computer.)
