Unreal Tournament - DM-Chemicalfactory144 - Deathmatch

A large chemical processing facility with a few traps set in place. Guaranteed to please or your money back.

This was a map I finished making about three years ago, but never got around to uploading it anywhere. I've playtested it to death, and think it should be out there somewhere.

Story: I'm not sure there is a story, but if there was it would probably be a very depressing one. The Consolidated Chemical Consortium (CCC) processing facilities are not very happy places. This particular facility, located just outside Buda, Texas... I don't really know why, is designed to make several chemical-based artificial sweeteners as well as six different types of plastics. The air inside is thick with particles of BHT, Styrene, Tetracycline, Acetone, and heavy doses of Carbon Monoxide. One might think this is not a particularly good place to make a sugar substitute, however the lingering toxins are not half as bad as the mother's love and toxic chemicals used to make the sweeteners.

There are many large machines involved in the process of making goodies. Many of which can crush you instantly.

The processing facility is composed of two levels, with a large cooling tank down below. The water in the cooling tank itself is mostly harmless, and moderately clean. The main hallway forms a large ring connecting all areas. There are at least four different ways to get to each section of the factory, making for creative maneuvering.

In the north section is the server room, as well as a large storage facility. There really is nothing very unique about this, except the servers have pretty flashy lights which bleep and blip and blink on and off all day long, and they're BEEPING and they're FLASHING and BLINKING ON AND OFF AND ON AND OFF AND ON! OH GOD, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! *slap* ... thanks.

In the south section is another storage room with several desktop computers and one dot-matrix printer. Please tell me why we still use dot-matrix printers in the future.

In the east section is the facility director's office, and the tunnel that leads to the shipping yard in Austin. Of course the tunnel would be more effective if someone moved the large boxes blocking the way. But that's ok, as no one ever really leaves this place, except for the facility director who never came here in the first place.

In the west section is a set of mixing pillars, which processes the sweetener... or plastics... or whatever that purple goo is. Please remain at a safe distance from the mixing pillars, especially if you are prone to wearing loose clothing.

In the center of the facility on the upper level is a hydraulic compressor. We don't really know what purpose this device serves, however the engineers probably shouldn't have put the activation switches on the floor nearby. Oh well.

Known bugs: none
