Battlefield 2 - HUD modification
This is a "Clean HUD" modification file for the Battlefield 2 HUD, moving all maps, bars and most text to be visible only when you press the map ("M") key.
Copy to your menu subfolder of your mod and add entry to
ServerArchives.con:
fileManager.mountArchive menu/Menu_server-cleanHUD.zip Menu
to precede this entry:
fileManager.mountArchive ../bf2/Menu_server.zip Menu
Works best when you also make nametags less visible. Add this to bottom of your init.con:
NameTags.MaxFriendlyDistance 000
NameTags.EnemyTagFadeInTime 50
NameTags.EnemyTagFadeOutTime 1
NameTags.EnemyTagDelayTime 50
NameTags.EnemyDotLimit 1
