Basically I converted this mod from my old URTL mod for doom 3 Because I was so annoyed that ID Boys have not chosen to update the flashlight for Quake 4! They're still using that crappy light and it just don't cut the mustard, with all the other beautiful graphic touches added to the game!Wrake's Ultra realistic Flashlight for Quake 4
This is my first mod for Quake 4, Others will follow. Thanks for all the feedback from users of my UR mods for doom 3.
In the past mods (& original ID flashlight) all the lights seem to be completely static and far to solid and unrealistic. So what i have tried to do is create something a bit more real!
All this mod does is replace shaders and textures of flashlight to simulate hand tremors and twists for a far less static look, with a new motion blurred texture for the light cast!
Installation: unpack to you quake 4 dir and run game. From the mods menu select urf, and Play!
Any how i hope you like! Bit more real, i think anyway!
