Defence Alliance 2 is a unique modification for Unreal Tournament 2004 that has an incredible assault style gameplay with various objective types. It includes six unique classes, advanced bot AI, large maps and over 50 custom made effects.
* Gameplay / Balancing
o Ditched the ending matinee scenes as they were causing trouble.
o Scoreboard is now shown at end of game and displays the winner.
o Display for buildcounts and -limits.
o Being killed by a dead player counted as suicide.
o Hud-scaling mixing up the AMI.
o "Ghost-AVeRs" are now fixed.
o Longer respawntimes for Defenders.
o Medics heal faster.
o Unable to throw grenades when your weapon was empty is fixed.
o PlasmaBombs do less damage through walls.
o Turrets in automatic mode are less accurate.
* GUI
o Fixed and updated a couple GUI windows that were still using UT2004 theme.
* Bot AI
o Bots now build turrets again.
o Bots are a bit less accurate.
o Bots correctly reload their rocket launcher now.
o Bots with completely no ammo use the ammoboxes but they failed to reload after, now they do.
o Bots will now use rocket launcher at destroyables.
o Bots will now use rocket launcher more against turrets.
o Bots will use A9 SMG against infantry.
o Bots wlil shoot at a turret that has been EMP. They used to ignore them.
o Bots will promote throwing plasma bombs at destroyables objectives.
o Bots equipped with EMPs will now focus more on turrets to disable them.
o Bots properly now properly use XD40 handgun and P280 handgun.
o Bots decide better based on circumstances if they should throw a grenade.
* Maps
o DA2-Classic-Egypt has been updated.
o DA2-Forgotten now correctly plays through maplist.
